Why is hair and makeup your career?
A friend introduced me to makeup in high school and I was so intrigued with how makeup could enhance or completely transform the face. Since then, I became obsessed and that led me to Blanche MacDonald Center for the makeup artistry program. I enjoy getting creative and helping women feel confident and beautiful. The process is what I love most!
What is it about working with brides/weddings you enjoy?
It's such an honor to be part of such a big day in a woman's life. I love helping brides look and feel their absolute best before they walk down the aisle. I do my best to keep a calm vibe for the getting ready part so the Bride can feel relaxed and pampered.
What is your favorite style to do?
For makeup, I prefer amplifying natural beauty. Although a more glam style is always fun to switch things up! For hair, I really love braids, but any loose, boho style with twists is fun! I love updos, half up and down styles.
What inspires you?
So many things. Seeing other artists work and watching tutorials. Listening to stories from clients and other artists. There's always so much to learn!
