Ting is a full-time freelance makeup and hair artist. Trained at Blanche Macdonald Centre in the one year full time global makeup program. Her art background and passion of makeup continues to fuel her success within the industry and keeps her clients happy.
Additional Information
Much of Ting's work has been published in several magazines, such as Mirror Mirror, Elegant, Vogue Italy, Solis magazine, etc. She has donated time and passion to volunteer for many charity shows such as Vancouver Children's Hospital, St John hospital, The Spinal Chord Gala for supporting ICORD, Children of Street fashion show, and more. I really enjoy glamming up wedding parties on their special day, adding that charm and happy into their big days. It gives me so much joy!

Why is hair and makeup your career?
My passion for art made me step into the makeup program. After working on all the beautiful faces, the excitement and satisfaction made me totally get into this colorful world. The unlimited creativeness of hair and makeup inspiration is endless and never boring. I'm always eager to learn more and I really enjoy and love what I am doing in this industry!
What is it about working with brides/weddings you enjoy?
I love starting the brides big day! To enhance her natural beauty, design her hair and makeup look, make her feel her best and take that nervousness away is amazing! After we are done, she turns to you and gives you the most beautiful smile, I feel really grateful and it warms my heart to be able to help her in such a way. Getting to help the bride get into her dress and to see her mothers face light up when she sees her for the first time is fabulous!
What is your favorite style to do?
Makeup is an art! It's unlimited! I love to challenge myself and try many different looks.
What inspires you?
Anything and everything that exists in this world can be very inspirational. That's why I always observe things around me. Things you eat, you see, you experience, you hear, and you feel.
